Peace that surpasses all understanding

It's amazing how prayer can change the way you feel instantly. You have so many things over your head yet you feel the joy, making you wonder what just happened. How in the instant of an "Amen" all your worries and doubts just fade away. Yes, chores will be chores and assignments and tests are still responsibilities, but the worrying and "waking up from your sleep because it was a nightmare" scare won't help whatsoever but just get our emotions haywire. 


Philippians 4:7 -  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.


Yup! It would =) the peace of God would surely help through it all. Guarding my heart and my mind. No point allowing a heavy feeling to fill my heart or negative thoughts to enter my mind. 

To hold the hands of my dear friend

And to pray together hoping it will cast out fear

Of being a college student

And the many responsibilities

Making life so not easy

We just said a prayer for each other

And hope that the feelings would not be a bother

Simple prayers of 2 girls

But God heard and He worked

And there was a change in the atmosphere

Peace filled us and it was incredible

Like "life is truly worth living"

And we need to live it for God

For we were called

To be so much more...
